Lones onLine is a Lone Guide Unit based in South Australia.

Lones provides the benefit of the Australian Guide Program to girls who are isolated by means of distance or other disadvantages.  

Traditionally Lone Guides communicate with their Leaders and each other using "snail mail" or the School of the Air radio network.  With advances in technology and the increasing popularity of computers and the Internet, our communication methods are changing.

Lones onLine was formed at the beginning of 2004 to meet the needs of the 14-18 age group in SA Lones. 

We hope that Lones onLine will eventually grow, as required, to become a network of Lone Guide Units of all ages from around Australia.
