Lones onLine Numbat Guides

Who are we?

Numbat Lones onLine is a Unit of 14-18 year old Guides in South Australia.

Lones are Guides who are isolated for various reasons including distance, work, studies or illness.  The members of our Unit live in many different parts of South Australia.

Instead of meeting at a Guide hall every week we communicate using the modern methods of email and the Internet.  This website has been set up to deliver program material to our members in conjunction with a secure, members only mailing list and chatroom.

What is a Numbat?

Numbats are small native Australian animals that are actually an endangered species.

The founding members of our Unit decided on Numbats as the Unit name because they considered Lones to be a rare and endangered species, like the Numbat.
